Hygiene you can see
Tools come out of a sealed autoclave pouch in front of you. Files, buffers and pedicure liners are single-use.
Since 2019
Jess and Ana met working back-to-back shifts at a busy downtown chain — forty-minute appointments, and never enough time to do the art properly.
In 2019 they opened Lacquer & Lace with six chairs and one rule: book enough time to do it right. Today there are three of us, a wall of more than four hundred colours, and a playlist we've been arguing about for years.
This founding story is fictional. Lacquer & Lace is a demonstration website, not a real salon, and the events and dates above are invented.
What we believe
Tools come out of a sealed autoclave pouch in front of you. Files, buffers and pedicure liners are single-use.
No harsh drilling and no peeling gel off. HEMA-free and vegan polish options for sensitive skin.
The price on the menu is the price you pay. Custom art is quoted before we pick up a brush.
The team
Twelve years in, and still the person to see for long, strong extensions that don't lift.
Florals, tiny lettering, portraits of your dog — if it fits on a nail, Ana can paint it.
Our chrome and cat-eye specialist, and the calmest pair of hands for a first pedicure.
Jess, Ana and Mei are fictional characters. They are not real people. Their roles, years of experience and specialisms were written to show how a salon team is presented on this site.
Gift cards
